Tim Cibor is husband to Sara and father to Catherine. He is also the director of bands and assistant director of orchestras at Birmingham Seaholm High School. Under his leadership, the band program continues to have a successful marching and concert season and has performed in London, Honolulu, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Orlando, Memphis, Nashville and New York City.
Tim is currently the Artistic Director for the Dearborn Youth Symphony and has been a guest conductor for the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, Oakland Youth Philharmonic, and Birmingham Concert Band. Recently, Tim was hired by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra to conduct the Civic Concert Orchestra. Tim has also served on faculty at the Interlochen Arts Camp.
Tim earned undergraduate degrees at Wayne State University and a M.M. at the University of Michigan. In his free time Tim enjoys yoga, golf, working on his house, and spending time with his family. His ice sculptures have won numerous awards and he has also been known to use leaf-blowers.
